Covering the southern part of the peninsular Deccan Plateau, South India is bounded by the Bay of Bengal in the east, the Arabian Sea in the west and the Indian Ocean in the south. The geography of the region is diverse with two mountain ranges – the Western and Eastern Ghats, bordering the plateau heartland. Godavari, Krishna, Kaveri, Tungabhadra and Vaigai rivers are important non-perennial sources of water. Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Coimbatore and Kochi are the largest urban areas.

After breakfast, Morning panoramic view of Chennai, St. Jorge Fort, St. Thomas Church in Mayellapore and Kapalishwara Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Lunch in a local restaurant. Continue to Mahabalipuram, city of seven pagodas. Evening at leisure on the beaches. Overnight at hotel.
Half board. Proceed for Kanchipuram, city of thousand pillar temple. Lunch in a local restaurant. Visit of Shore temple and huge single stone monument “ relegation of Ganges”. Also we will see group of five Ratha. Overnight at hotel.
Half board. Morning proceed for Darasuram, where we will see temple of Airavateshwar of 12th century. Lunch in a local restaurant. Then proceed to Kumbkonam. Overnight at hotel.
Breakfast at hotel. Complete day for visiting. Proceed towards Thanjavur and visit of Brihadeshwara temple, considered as the most perfect example of Dravedian architecture. Proceed to Trichi, where we will see temple of Srirangam temple. Proceed to Chattinad. Overnight at hotel.
Half board. After breakfast visit of Chattinad, picturesque city of rich businessman whose style of living can be seen in architecture, customs, art & culture. Lunch in a local restaurant. Proceed to Madurai. Overnight at hotel.
After breakfast city visit, Minakshi temple, palace of Thirumalai Nayak and temple of Thiruparangundaram, having fortress of blue and yellow dragons. Evening ceremony at Minakshi temple where the priest took the god to take a round and celebrate their rituals (optional but highly recommendable). Overnight at hotel.
Full board. After breakfast at hotel proceed to Periyar, One of the most beautiful reserves of India. Evening elephant ride in a private garden. Visit of Tea and Spices plantation. Overnight at hotel.
Full board. After breakfast at hotel, proceed to Kumarakom. Boat ride in the lake to enjoy evening, in the middle of heavenly ambiance. Overnight at hotel.
Half board. After breakfast boat ride to Allepy through the backwaters. On arrival at Allepy, lunch at local restaurant and proceed to Cochin. Overnight at hotel.
After breakfast, city visit, includes one of the oldest Synagogue (Jewish) in Mattancherry, (closed on Friday and Saturday). Later we will see Chinese fishing nets aged almost four centuries, St. Francis church, Dutch palace and walk through the streets of old cochin. Overnight at hotel.
Transfer to Cochin airport to connect the flight for Bangalore. On arrival at Bangalore proceed to Mysore (200 kms). On the way visit of Srirangpattnam, remains of fort and tomb. Overnight at hotel.
After breakfast, visit of Mysore, where we will see Maharaja palace of Wadiyar dynasty, we will climb Chamundi Hill to see the temple of goddess Chamundeshwari and gigantic statue of Nandi Bull (Vehicle of Lord Shiva). Proceed to Somnathpur to visit temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu of 12th century. Return to Mysore. Overnight at hotel.
After breakfast, leave for Belur. Visit of temples of Belur and Halibid. Continue the journey to Hasan. visit of temples in Hasan. Overnight at hotel.
After breakfast, leave for Sravanabelagola where we will see one of the most respected temple of Jain religion and huge statue of Jain Teerthankar. Continue to Banglore. Overnight at hotel.
After breakfast, leave for airport to flight for Mumbai to connect flight for Aurangabad. Arrival at Aurangabad. Overnight at hotel.
Half board. After breakfast, Visit of Ajanta, group of thirty caves, constructed in 2nd century BC. Where we could see the Buddhist painting that describes the journey of Buddha. Overnight at hotel.
After breakfast, Visit of Ellora caves, considered as one of the jewels of India. Later transfer to airport to connect the flight for Mumbai. Arrival and transfer to hotel in Mumbai. Overnight at hotel.
After breakfast, city visit including museum of “Prince of Wales”, where we can see paintings and archaeological stuff of 18th and 19th century. Later we will see the gateway of India, Parsi silence tower, ending to hanging garden of Malabar. Overnight at hotel or departure to your destination.
